About
Bio
My name is Save (they/them). I'm a young artist, writer and creative from the UK. My personal visual style is focused on shape language and quick jerky movement, and draws from a lot of different areas of traditional western animation, fine art and comic art.
My fiction channels my experiences with severe illness, physical disability, exploration of gender, isolation and self-realisation. I write stories that exist loosely in the scifi, fantasy and apocalyptic genres. I enjoy the challenge of exploring and representing ideas and emotions that I've never seen reflected on paper.
Collaboration
I currently am focusing on self-publishing a novel. However, I have made homemade video game and visual novel projects that are written, illustrated and sound designed solo. I dip into many different creative areas, though my strongest are in character design, character development, narrative development, story and dialogue; as well as general visual and conceptual development. I am approachable for not-for-profit collaborative projects within any of these disciplines.
Commissions
Currently I am only accepting commissions from friends only.
Sensitivity Reading
I am open to being approached for sensitivity reading or advice services for issues such as wheelchair and mobility aid usage, disability, chronic illness and trans identity. Please contact me with the scope of the project and I will give you a quote.
